Searching referring doctors

This article will illustrate the process of searching for referring doctors within Healthware:

Ensure you are logged into Healthware and have accessed the relevant patient's file.

Within the patient details screen, initiate the process by clicking on the "Edit Patient" button.

Upon clicking "Edit Patient," the patient record will become accessible, enabling you to initiate a search for referring doctors within the contact information screen.

In the "Referring Doctors" field, as you begin typing, the system will automatically filter and display relevant options based on your input. It's important to note that you can only select doctors who are registered within Healthware; manual entry of a doctor's name is not supported.

Upon selecting the appropriate doctor, proceed to scroll down the screen and click the "Save" button to save any modifications you have made.

If you are unable to locate the doctor within the system, please do not hesitate to contact our support line via email with the doctor's details, and we will ensure their addition to the system for your convenience.
