Rehabilitation Plan & Clinical Assessment Updates

We are committed to enhancing both the efficiency and user experience within HealthWare. In line with this commitment, we've implemented some updates to the Rehabilitation Plan and Clinical Assessment screens, detailed below:

Planned Discharge date is editable on the Rehabilitation Plan Screen, click on the pencil icon to edit the date.

Click on the calendar icon to select a new date for planned discharge, then click the Green tick icon to save.

The Days Until Discharge will update

As well as the Planned Discharge Date that appears for the patient on the Admitted and Extension Screen

An accordion for Case Manager notes was added, which will populate into all reports generated from the Generate Reports button, if completed. If left blank the field will be ignored when the report is generated as with any of the other fields.

All the fields in Rehabilitation Plan and Clinical Assessment has a version control icon, this allows the user to see what changes were made to that field, when the changes were made and who made the changes.

If there were multiple edits made to the field the user can step back and forward to review all the changes made.

Doctors and Case Managers are able to review and update Acute and Chronic diagnoses / ICD10 codes from the Rehabilitation Plan screen. Click the + sign to add additional codes or the x sign next to the code to be deleted. The user can drag and drop the codes in the correct sequence if needed and then click Save Diagnosis once complete.

This will also be updated on the Specialist Referral screen

Field locking when another user is accessing, here I'm logged in as Clinical 1 and it shows that user Zeenat Barendse is typing in the Physiotherapy accordion, in the Current Clinical Summary field.

No other user will be able to type in this field, until the Field Updated green banner appears, this field will then unlock and allow another user to access.

If a user does not click out to allow the field to save, or clicks directly from typing onto another tab, or clicks refresh directly from typing, not allowing the Field Updated green banner to appear, the field will lock for 90 seconds before being released for another user to access.
