In this article we will walk you through the steps for adding a guarantor record.
Guarantor information is required when the individual responsible for the hospital or treatment account is different from the patient.
When loading a patient, or editing patient details, you’ll notice a Guarantor tab along the horizontal page tabs.
If the patient is responsible for the account, select the Patient is Responsible for Payment checkbox.
If the patient is not responsible, leave the checkbox unselected and proceed to complete the details in the form below.
We recommend completing the form from top to bottom to ensure no required fields are missed. If any required information is incomplete, the form will not save
Once all the guarantor details have been completed, select Next to proceed to the next page and continue loading the patient. If you are editing an existing record, select Save and Exit.
